The qualification has no formal entry requirements. Fran Capelli Academy may undertake a pre-training review and foundation skills assessment where required to identify the learner’s existing skills, support needs and readiness for training.

• Applicants should have sufficient English language, literacy and numeracy skills to participate in training and assessment.
• Learners should have access to the technology required for the agreed delivery and assessment arrangements.
• Before commencing work placement, learners must meet the relevant workplace and regulatory requirements.
• National Child Safety Training requirements apply before undertaking work placement in a regulated early childhood education and care service.
